Plan is to meet up in Howth Harbour at 18.30. Adventurers will throw their overnight gear into the boat, wetsuit up and jump on a paddleboard for a quick intro class to paddling on the water. We will then set off on the paddle across to Ireland’s Eye, about an hours paddle. Safety boat will be watching over the group all the way. When we arrive on island we will quickly set up tents. Everyone will head off on a paddling exploration of cliffs and caves and arrive back to a fierce feed.
Dinner menu is subject to change but looking like BBQ Chicken & Veg Chile Burritos, Mexican Quinoa Salad, BBQ Sweet Potato. And for desert BBQ Cinnamon Pineapple & Baked Bananas.
Then time to relax aroudn the camp fire with some craic n ceoil. Up early to a bbq Irish breakfast with coffee and tea, fuelling up for the big paddle back to the mainland.
Looking to get people to pitch in €25 this dry run to cover costs of food, fuel and equipment etc.
Weathers looking great so remember some sun screen.
