The Experience
The Big Dipper is our west coast spa experience, combining a wood-fired sauna, cold plunge pool, and outdoor hot tub — all perched to take in the stunning Atlantic coastline.
The sauna, lined with fragrant Alder wood, seats 10 comfortably, while the hot tub fits 5. Alternate heat and cold, take in the views of Inishturk, Clare Island, Carrowniskey Beach, Kileen’s lakes and fields, and even Croagh Patrick on a clear day. After a session, relax on the deck with a coffee, tea, or a well-earned pint from P Dan’s, just across the lodge courtyard.

Where We Are
The Lodge is located a 25 minute drive south of Westport, just outside the town of Louisburgh.
From our hilltop vantage point we look out over Cross and Carrowniskey surf beaches, the world class flat water kitesurfing spot of Cross Lake and all the way to Croagh Patrick.
All within a few minutes drive.
