The Experience
Warm your bones and refresh your body with our 50-minute Open Dipper session, including access to the wood-burning sauna, outdoor hot tub, plunge pool, and cold showers, with communal changing and bag storage.
The session is shared with other guests but capped at 12, keeping the experience intimate and relaxing. Alternate between the sauna (80–90°C), hot tub (36–38°C), and chilled plunge pool or showers to fully reset, then unwind on the deck and take in the sweeping views over Clew Bay and Clare Island.
For an extra boost, a dip in Killadoon Beach beforehand is recommended, and afterwards, P Dan’s Gastropub is just across the lodge courtyard for a pint or bite to eat.

Where We Are
The Lodge is located a 25 minute drive south of Westport, just outside the town of Louisburgh.
From our hilltop vantage point we look out over Cross and Carrowniskey surf beaches, the world class flat water kitesurfing spot of Cross Lake and all the way to Croagh Patrick.
All within a few minutes drive.
Frequently asked Questions
What should I bring?
Swimwear (avoid metal fastenings due to heat in the sauna)
2 towels (one to dry off, one to sit on — towel service available for €5)
Water bottle if you’d like but it’s also provided on site.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes — no experience is required. Just be comfortable entering cold water.
How many people per session?
Open sessions are shared, with a maximum of 10 participants.
Can I bring extra guests?
Extra guests are welcome only in private sessions.
Are changing facilities available?
Yes — we have communal changing rooms and bag storage.
Is there parking?
