The Experience

Our college group weekends give societies and clubs the chance to take over The BigStyle Lodge in Killadoon for an unforgettable and incredibly good-value trip to the west coast.

Your group gets the lodge as a base for the weekend, including access to our large communal kitchen and dining areas, perfect for cooking big group meals and hanging out together after a day of adventures. You’ll also have surfboards and wetsuits available to use, plus a Big Dipper sauna, hot tub and plunge pool session included in the price.

Located between the mountains and the Atlantic, the lodge sits beside some of Mayo’s most beautiful beaches and hiking trails, with P Dan’s Pub just across the courtyard for evening pints and craic.

For college societies looking for an affordable group getaway with loads of space, incredible scenery, and plenty to do, it’s an unreal deal.

Hear From Past Visitors

"I organised this trip as part of a college society as I heard some great reviews about Big Style and we were not disappointed. The communication from the Big Style team was great, they were super responsive and helped us organise a shuttle bus. From the moment we arrived they showed us their facilities, including gorgeous double, twin and triple rooms with most having a sea view, the dining and living area, and the outdoor decking and Big Dipper with a sauna, cold water pool and hot tub overlooking the sea. The surf lesson was very thorough and helpful with everyone getting tips and tricks to suit them, and the food was incredible, all homemade on site by a chef. Everything about the trip was enjoyable and it was all down to the team at Big Style."

"Had the privilege of bringing our Surf Club to BigStyle last weekend and i have nothing but good things to say.
The building is beautiful and all rooms are spacious and clean, the back lodge is the perfect spot to chill out in the evenings (not to mention the fire pit and outdoor area) and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need.
Regardless of if you are in your room/outside or in P.Dans pub right next door i can guarantee you will have the nicest view in Ireland of killadoon strand and the surrounding countryside.
Perfect spot for a surf and stay and Kris and the gang made us feel right at home.
Our only disappointment is that we didn't stay longer!"
