The Lodge is located a 25 minute drive south of Westport, just outside the town of Louisburgh.
From our hilltop vantage point we look out over Cross and Carrowniskey surf beaches, the world class flat water kitesurfing spot of Cross Lake and all the way to Croagh Patrick.

What types of groups can book BigStyle Lodge?
We welcome all kinds of groups: corporate teams, stag and hen parties, school trips, birthday celebrations, family gatherings, or any special event.
How many people can the lodge accommodate?
The lodge has 50 beds across ensuite rooms, including doubles, twins, triples, and dorms, with half the rooms offering stunning ocean views.
Can we hire the lodge exclusively?
Yes!If you have a group of 30 you can plan an all inclusive weekend all to yourselves. Or else venue hire is available midweek all year round, or on weekends during the off-season (1st November – 28th February). And for venue hire we’re more flexible on numbers.
Do you offer all-inclusive packages?
Yes, groups can book full all-inclusive weekend escapes with meals, activities, surf lessons, yoga, sauna & hot tub sessions, bonfires, and more — everything is designed to be effortless.
Can we just do a day trip or activities?
Absolutely. You can book group surf lessons, sauna & hot tub sessions, or combine the two for a half-day or bespoke experience.
Are stag and hen parties welcome?
Yes! We have dedicated packages for both stag and hen groups, designed for fun, adventure, and group bonding.
Do you cater to school groups?
Yes, our school trips focus on active learning, outdoor adventure, and team challenges, all supervised by our experienced instructors.
What’s included with venue hire?
Exclusive access to the lodge, all bedrooms, communal areas, yoga studio, kitchen with wood-fired pizza oven, indoor & outdoor stages, event-ready PA and presentation equipment. Optional extras like sauna & hot tub sessions or P Dan’s pub services are available.
Do you provide food and drink?
All-inclusive packages include meals and snacks. For venue hire or bespoke events, catering can be arranged, and P Dan’s Pub is available for pints or seasonal food.
Do we need to bring any equipment?
No — all surf, SUP, yoga, and spa equipment is provided. For outdoor activities, just bring suitable clothes, swimwear, and a sense of adventure!
How do we get to the lodge?
The lodge is easily accessible from Louisburgh (5 min) and Westport (25 min). Transport options include self-drive, taxi, or local bus. Full directions are available on our Getting Here page.
