BigStyle Slane is the home of the best group trip on the east coast.
The Experience
Think festival vibes, evenings around the bonfire, sauna and hot tub sessions, downriver stand up paddle expeditions, great food, live music, new friends, and a few cosy pints. All in the heart of the Boyne valley, less than an hour from the big smoke.
We’ve taken the same structure that we’ve been operating for years in our Lodge in Co. Mayo and brought the magic to Meath: an all-inclusive weekend with all food, accommodation, and activities included—curated for maximum activity and enjoyment without completely exhausting everyone.

Festival vibes on our all inclusive weekends
What to Expect
SUP
We’ll be running a downriver stand up paddleboarding adventure covering 3 kilometers down the beautiful Boyne, finishing at our brand-new SUP and sauna setup on the riverbank for a dip and a sweat.
Hike or Run
We’ll lead a guided 3 km hike through the forests and along the river. For those up for it, we’ll do a 5 km run along a scenic loop with beautiful views of the castle.
Yoga
Whatever the weather, we’ll kick off both mornings with yoga. If the weather allows, we’ll be on the grass overlooking the river; otherwise, we’ll take it to the barn.
Gigs
We’ll put on a Saturday night gig either under the stars or in the barn, depending on the weather. Sure, it wouldn’t be Slane without a few tunes.
Bonfire Vibes
On Friday night, we’ll sit around the bonfire soaking in the atmosphere. The hot tub will also be running for anyone fancying a soak under the stars.
Pub Night
By day, a mild-mannered hay barn; by night, a cosy shebeen. If the weather isn’t playing ball, we’ll sneak into the barn for a pint and a chat.

What should I know before coming?
Everything is taken care of for you — food, accommodation and activities are all included. The weekend is active but relaxed, with plenty of downtime built in. You can join everything or dip in and out as you like.Just show up ready for a good time.
What’s included in the price?
Two nights’ accommodation, all meals, yoga sessions, downriver SUP, sauna and river dips, guided hike or run, hot tub, live music, bonfire hangs and all group activities. Once you arrive, there’s very little else to think about.
Do I need to be super fit?
Not at all. Everything is designed to be fun and accessible rather than hardcore.
If you can walk a few kilometres and you’re comfortable on the water, you’ll be absolutely fine. All activities are optional too — skip anything you fancy.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely — lots of people do. The weekends are very social and friendly, and people tend to get to know each other quickly. Coming solo is totally normal.
What’s the accommodation like?
You’ll stay in comfortable, upmarket yurts or shepherd’s huts at our glamping site. Think cosy beds, proper shelter, stoves inside for winter and a relaxed communal setup rather than rough camping. It’s outdoorsy but very comfortable.
What should I bring with me?
- Swimwear & towel
- Walking/running shoes
- Warm layers (it’s Ireland after all)
- Casual clothes for evenings
- Reusable water bottle/keep cup (optional)

Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes — vegetarian, vegan and most dietary requirements can be catered for. Just let us know in advance and we’ll sort you out.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes — it’s BYOB. We also run a cosy little shebeen-style pub in the barn where you can grab a pint during the evenings.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We roll with it. If it’s sunny, we’re outside under the stretch tent or by the river. If it’s wet, we move into the barn. The weekend runs rain or shine and is good craic either way.
Is there any parking available and does it cost anything?
Yes — free parking is available on site.
Are there changing facilities on site?
Yes — changing facilities are available both at the glamping site and down at the riverside activity base.
Are there toilet facilities on site?
Yes — proper toilets are available on site.
What time does the weekend finish?
Checkout is around 2pm on Sunday, after breakfast and a final sauna/river dip. No early rush — nice and handy.
